Getting a bit feral. Photo for children's services... 7 yr old with wine bottle.

Macy and Kasey, worn out.

We all enjoyed Dad's party, and said we'd have to get together for another camp next year. The cake travelled from Brisbane, on my lap, unknowingly with the cake box upside down (Mark says that was my fault, I'm sure it was his, of course). Nothing some well placed strawberries couldn't fix. I think my lovely Dad had a great time. He deserved it, as I told him on the night, he's always been there for us xxxx

Dad's 70th Birthday - getting ready

We all camped close together, and had a relaxing afternoon catching up, and getting the campfires lit.

Coffee Plantation

Uncle David used to grow, roast and sell coffee, so he's got a network of great places to go for coffee. This plantation at Woody Head had a little cafe.

The waiter was friendly, but a bit slow lol

David had to help serve because we all lobbed up at once.

The cafe had a charity shop attached. Both Kasey and Macy bought dolls to play with.
The owner gave us a really interesting talk about the history of the plantation

Woody Head Camp Ground Oct 2012

The cabin

In October 2012 we celebrated Dad (Ralph Bullock's) 70th Birthday. We stayed in a comfy little cabin at Woody Head Campground, Iluka, Northern NSW. Dad, Trish, Brad and Macy, Margaret and Lloyd, John and Madison, David and Dawn stayed with us. Dad's friends from Bateman's Bay - Neil and Lou and Don and Robyn - came too.

Frankenweenie

Franklin & Lucy watching Frankenweenie, a Tim Burton movie. They didn't look too upset.....

We took Kasey to see Frankenweenie in Sep this year. I knew it was about a pet dog being brought back to life, but because it was rated PG, I thought it would be fine for Kasey. Big mistake. She was right into the cuteness of the story about the boy and his pet dog, until the dog was hit by a car. Then she sobbed for pretty much the entire movie. When the cinema was especially quiet, you could hear her gulping sobs. Not my finest parenting moment.
